Once again, Silverton Middle School participated in the Pennies for Patients fundraising campaign, which is organized by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), the world’s largest non-profit health organization dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers. The campaign program is for elementary and middle schools that would like to support the LLS’s mission to create a world without cancer. SMS students were asked to bring in pennies (or any money!) to their AG’s. The AG with the most money donated won a lunch from The Olive Garden, who is a national sponsor of the LLS. Our school raised $1,066.49, and the winning AG was Mrs. Stadeli’s, bringing in $254.89! Congratulations students – well done!
